I recently heard the phrase “Do not waste your hurts” from someone who had lost a son due to the mental health struggles he faced as a teenager.
After moving through their grief, the family decided to support the creation of a mental health clinic in Orange County.
This phrase could be translated into Russian as “Don’t let your suffering go to waste” or “Don’t spend your pain for nothing.”
If life has led you through pain, and you’ve learned something from it — share it with the world.
Pain and hardship can be turned into lessons or sources of strength, if we approach them with understanding and intention. Through these experiences, knowledge and light enter the world.
We can make this world a better place. RO
