The Heart in the Present: How to Bring Yourself Back to the Here and Now

Have you ever thought about the fact that all of our organs, except for one, exist in the present moment?

Our heart doesn’t beat for the past or the future—it beats here and now.

Our lungs take in air and release it; they don’t store it (except in cases like scuba diving, where breath-holding is necessary).

And the only organ that constantly lingers in either the past or the future is our brain.

We tend to befriend our mind and forget that our true connection with the Creator comes through our heart, which exists in the present.

When we mentally pull ourselves into the past or the future, we disrupt this connection.

Drifting away from real time leads to anxiety and exhaustion. It’s a reminder that we need to bring ourselves back to the now.

Make this a habit. Integrate it into your daily life.

Place your hand on your heart, feel its beat, and bring yourself back to where you’re meant to be—right here, right now!
