I never make a list of resolutions for the year—go on a diet, work out every day, read for an hour daily, quit drinking. Throughout my not-so-short life, I've heard countless New Year’s promises.
I also don’t wait for Monday or the first of the month to start something new or make a change.
I have a mantra, and it goes like this: "I am a master editor of my life." I write my life as I live it—breathing deeply, making edits along the way, adjusting what doesn’t fit, choosing my thoughts, embracing joy, and expressing gratitude for each day.
I don’t strive for a “final draft.” I grow and evolve by doing, by making mistakes and correcting them—and I absolutely love it.
