Control or Mindfulness? The Path to Healthy Eating and Self-Love

You often ask me what inspired me to create my course. I’ve thought about this question for a long time, searching for the root cause.

Having walked the path from control and fear to mindfulness, I’m ready to answer.

"I can’t control what happens around me, but I can control my weight and my food choices."I hear this phrase so often—especially from women.

And you know what? I used to live this way for most of my life too.

Control is a response to anxiety. When everything feels uncertain and unstable, we cling to what’s familiar, to something we can regulate.

But controlling food and weight isn’t about health, proper nutrition, or self-love. It’s about a lack of trust and inner harmony.

Our real goal is to become our body’s best friend and partner.To learn to listen to it, trust our feelings and emotions, and experience pleasure without slipping into excess.To make mindful choices and truly enjoy life.
