Bikini Season vs. Life: Why Staying Fit Shouldn’t Be Just for Summer

Whenever I hear the phrase “Get ready for bikini season,” I can’t help but ask—why not be ready for every single day of your precious life?

Waking up feeling light and energized, moving with ease, wearing the clothes you love, eating mindfully, sleeping soundly.

Why are we only encouraged to do this for just 1/4 of the year—sold diets, powders, injections, and pills? To make money, of course. Because as soon as summer ends, we fall right back into old habits, only to start the cycle again next year.

The diet and pharmaceutical industries don’t profit from our lasting fitness. The only ones who truly benefit from it are us. And we have the power to live in a beautiful, healthy, and strong body—physically and emotionally—not just for a season, but for life.
